Overview:
The blank Certification of Valuation (Form DLG 57) may be used by the county assessor to certify a local taxing entity's
values for property taxation purposes. Assessors must certify valuation to each local taxing entity by August 25th of
each year and then are permitted to re-certify valuation once by December 10th. The Property Tax Administrator requests
that assessors provide the re-certification by December 1st to allow local governments time to finalize their budgets and
certify their mill levies to the county commissioners by the December 15th deadline.
