The following thematic maps are available in Adobe pdf format. Unless otherwise noted, the source of data for all maps will be the State Demography Office.

The following maps show historical population distributions in Colorado. Night Sky Maps illustrate land area on a black background in which the population locations are shown as if lights were visible during the night sky. White dots coalesce to form the population concentrations. Each white "dot" represents 499 people.

Total Population maps range from 1880 to 2000. Each map represents the total population by county according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Percent Change maps display the percent change in population for each county during several decades.
