CIAC/OPS:

  • Report out at 1:00am on London-DIA & DPD notified (No information on specific threats to Colorado)

  • 1 st prevention Exercise
  • Grand Prix-ESF 13-George Epp on law enforcement (good progress)
  • Terrorism Annex-Set up meeting with CSP
  • Rubicon has received national attention
  • Nebraska will be visiting Colorado to possibly replicate
  • Training available for schools/resource officers

DEPT. OF CORRECTIONS:

  • 22 facilities
  • 2,740 staff are been trained (1/2 way there)
  • Tabletop exercise
  • Preparedness plans

CCNC:

  • Statewide DTR user agencies are fast approaching 550
  • Redesigning website
  • Vendor show in May was a success
  • State’s technicians & private vendors are working hard to get site ready for the Rainbow Family
  • Re-banding efforts are underway
  • Training requirements for technicians working on critical infrastructure issues, which will include incumbents’ skills assessment. The plan used was sent to us by Jack Cobb.
  • Next CCNC meeting is August 16 th in Montrose

CEMA & DEM:

  • Governor’s Conference February 27-March 1 st, 2007- Inverness Resort
  • New emergency managers training
  • Continuity Planners
  • Building Partnerships-September 22 nd CEMA Meeting at Glenwood Springs

STATE FIRE CHIEFS:

  • Intrastate/Interstate System
  • ROSS database or similar system being encouraged
  • Development on www.IAFC.org, click on MASTF
  • Testing system and identifying the legalities
  • Public Works are working on typing standards
  • Colorado unique because it is multi-disciplinary
  • Feds are looking at us

SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION:

Senate Bill 90 Updates:

  • DLG sent out a copy to every county and municipalities
  • Required certification form
  • March reporting requirement
  • AG’s opinion (applies to all funds, modifications and amendments) not for special districts
