About the Panel:

The Colorado Blue Ribbon Panel is a joint project of the Colorado Division of Housing and the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute at the University of Denver. The Panel is co-chaired by Thomas J. Ragonetti of Otten Johnson, Robinson, Neff, and Ragonetti, P.C., and Colorado Division of Housing Director Kathi Williams.

The Panel met from November 2004 to November 2005 and released its final report in March 2006. The report’s release was followed up with seven regional forums throughout Colorado to facilitate communication about the report’s recommendations with local communities. The meetings were held in Denver, Grand Junction, Durango, Windsor, Fort Morgan, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo.

Since March, the Colorado Division of Housing and many other public and private agencies and organizations throughout the state have been working to implement the Panel’s final recommendations. The Panel will meet in 2007 to evaluate progress.
